It sales in seventeen luxury cars such your Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce etc. It’s a useful index which highlights the broader health of the economy and house prices. It shows the wealth effect. The index has been running for 26 years.  The luxury car market has been quite strong but and has been in close correlation with house prices, highlighting the wealth effect. However it seems as if luxury car sales have peaked and has hit a 15-month low. It could be a sign that the a slowdown in the housing market is on the way.
